Our pre-coated cover glass simplifies the entire coverslipping workflow because the mounting medium is already applied on the glass, so there is no need for additional mounting medium.

There are three key advantages.

Slides are ready for scanning in about 40 seconds and fully dry for archiving in around 6 hours, much faster than traditional mounting methods.

Second, a cleaner and more reliable workflow. 

It prevents mounting medium overflow and eliminates clogging issues in the coverslipper needle and solenoid valve, making the system much easier to use and maintain.

Third, better long-term slide quality compared with film systems. 

Film covers can turn yellow during storage and may peel off over time. If the film falls off, it can damage or remove the tissue, requiring technicians to re-cut, re-stain, and re-cover the slide. Our solution uses a glass-based pre-coated cover glass, which adheres firmly and preserves the staining color without change.
